ScamWars is a conceptual mobile game designed to raise awareness about digital fraud through social deception mechanics and strategic gameplay. The aim was to blend education and entertainment in an immersive, interactive experience, allowing players to explore themes of trust, manipulation, and teamwork within a digital environment.
My role: UX/UI Designer
Tools used: Figma, Procreate
Responsibilities and Contributions:
- Ensured accessibility and clarity across all game screens, enabling a smooth and intuitive player experience from start to finish
- Designed the complete user interface for the mobile app, including onboarding flows, player dashboards, chat systems, and character interaction screens
- Created wireframes and developed both low and high-fidelity prototypes to define user journeys and game interaction flows
- Established a cohesive visual identity reflecting the themes of mystery, digital deception, and strategic gameplay
- Designed character cards, interactive pop ups, and task screens to support in-game decisions and collaborative strategy
- Focused on intuitive navigation to help players easily access key actions and information without interrupting gameplay
- Integrated storytelling elements throughout the interface to deepen emotional involvement and player immersion.
This project provided a valuable opportunity to explore how thoughtful design can support not only usability but also awareness around important digital safety topics. By using a game format, I was able to convey complex themes in a way that feels accessible, interactive, and fun.
