Online Art Store | UX/UI Case Study

Description

An e-commerce platform designed to showcase and sell original artworks with a focus on simplicity, personality, and ease of navigation.

Problem:
Art store websites often feel cluttered or impersonal, making it difficult for customers to connect with the artist or confidently explore and purchase unique pieces.

Goal:
Create a clean, user-friendly online store that reflects the artist’s personality, supports a smooth shopping experience, and showcases artwork beautifully.

What I did:

  • Conducted research on art buyers’ expectations and competitive platforms

  • Mapped user flows and created wireframes for a seamless browsing-to-checkout experience

  • Designed a minimalist yet expressive UI that balances white space with bold visuals

  • Focused on storytelling, making the artist and artwork feel more personal and accessible

  • Built responsive layouts optimized for desktop and mobile users

  • Designed custom product cards, filter components, and a friendly contact form

Outcome:
A well-structured, visually engaging online store that supports both brand identity and e-commerce usability — making it easier for visitors to browse, connect, and purchase.
